Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy of personal information (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) applies to all information that the “Download Manager uFiler.pro” (hereinafter referred to as the uFiler) can receive about the User during the use of any of uFiler websites, services, programs, or products (hereinafter referred to as the Services, the uFiler Services) and during the execution of any agreements and contracts by the uFiler with the User. The User’s consent to the Policy, expressed in the framework of relations with one of the listed items, applies to all other listed items. Use of uFiler Services assumes an unconditional consent of the User with this Policy and the conditions for processing his/her personal information specified in it. In case of disagreement with these conditions, the User should refrain from using the Services.

1. Personal information of Users processed by the uFiler

1.1. Within the framework of this Policy, the "personal information of the User" means:
1.1.1. Personal information that the User provides about himself when registering (creating an account) or in the process of using the Services, including personal data of the User. Information required for the provision of the Services is marked in a special way. Other information is provided by the User at his discretion.
1.1.2. Data that is automatically transferred to uFiler Services in the course of their use through the software installed on the User’s device, including IP address, cookie data, information about the User’s browser (or other program that accesses the Services), technical characteristics of the equipment and software used by the User, the date and time of access to the Services, the addresses of the requested pages and other similar information.
1.1.3. Other information about the User, the processing of which is provided for under the terms of use of specific uFiler Services.
1.2. This Policy applies only to information processed in the course of using uFiler Services. The uFiler does not control and is not responsible for the processing of information by third-party websites that the User can go to by clicking on the links available on the uFiler’s websites, including in search results.
1.3. The uFiler does not verify the authenticity of personal information provided by the User, and does not have an ability to evaluate his legal capacity. However, the uFiler assumes that the user provides reliable and sufficient personal information and maintains this information up to date.

2. Purpose of processing personal information of Users

2.1. The uFiler collects and stores only personal information that is necessary for the provision of the Services or the execution of agreements and contracts with the User, unless the law provides for the mandatory storage of personal information for a period specified by law.
2.2. The uFiler processes the User’s personal information for the following purposes:
2.2.1. Identification of the party in the framework of Services, agreements and contracts with the uFiler;
2.2.2. Providing the User with personalized Services and the execution of agreements and contracts;
2.2.3. Communication with the User, including sending notifications, requests and information regarding the use of the Services, execution of agreements and contracts, and processing of requests and applications from the User;
2.2.4. Improving the quality of Services, convenience of use, development of new Services;
2.2.5. Targeting promotional materials;
2.2.6. Conducting statistical and other studies based on anonymized data.

3. Terms of processing personal information of Users and its transfer to third parties

3.1. The uFiler stores the personal information of Users in accordance with the internal regulations of specific services.
3.2. In regards to the User’s personal information, its confidentiality is preserved, except in cases of voluntary provision by the User of information about himself for general access to an unlimited circle of individuals. When using specific Services, the User agrees that a certain part of his personal information becomes publicly available.
3.3. The uFiler is entitled to transfer the User’s personal information to third parties in the following cases:
3.3.1. The user has agreed to such actions;
3.3.2. The transfer is necessary for the use of a specific Service by the User or for the execution of a specific agreement or contract with the User;
3.3.3. The transfer is provided for by Russian or other applicable legislation within the framework of the procedure established by law;
3.3.4. Such a transfer takes place as part of a sale or other transfer of business (in whole or in part), with all obligations to comply with the terms of this Policy with respect to the personal information received being transferred to the purchaser;
3.3.5. In order to ensure a possibility of protecting the rights and legal interests of the uFiler or third parties in cases where the User violates the User Agreement of uFiler services (https://uFiler.pro/agreement), this Policy, or documents containing the terms of use for specific Services.
3.3.6. As a result of anonymization processing of the User’s personal information, anonymous statistics are obtained and transferred to a third party for research, work or services on behalf of the uFiler.
3.4. When processing personal data of Users, the uFiler is guided by the Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On Personal Data”.

4. Change and deletion of personal information. Mandatory data storage

4.1. The user can change (update, supplement) personal information provided by him or its part at any time using the function for editing personal data in the "Profile" section or in the personal data section of the corresponding Service.
4.2. The user can also delete personal information provided by him within a framework of a certain account. At the same time, the removal of personal information may result in an inability to use some uFiler Services.
4.3. The rights provided for in paragraphs. 4.1. and 4.2. of this Policy may be limited in accordance with the law requirements. In particular, such restrictions may include an obligation of the uFiler to save the information changed or deleted by the User for a period established by law and to transfer such information in accordance with the procedure established by law to an authorized state body.

5. Processing personal information using cookies and counters

5.1. Cookies transmitted by the uFiler to the equipment of the User and from the User’s equipment to the uFiler can be used by the uFiler to provide the User with personalized Services, to target advertisements that are displayed to the User for statistical and research purposes, and to improve uFiler Services.
5.2. The user is aware that the equipment and software used by him to visit websites on the internet may have a function of prohibiting operations with cookies (for any websites or for specific websites), as well as deleting previously received cookies.
5.3. The uFiler has a right to establish that the provision of a certain Service is possible only on condition that the acceptance and receipt of cookies is permitted by the User.
5.4. The structure of the cookie file, its content and technical parameters are determined by the uFiler and may change without prior notice to the User.
5.5. The counters placed by the uFiler in the Services can be used to analyze the cookies of the User, to collect and process statistical information about the use of the Services, as well as to ensure the functioning of the Services in general or their individual functions in particular. The technical parameters of the counters functioning are determined by the uFiler and can be changed without prior notice to the User.

6. Measures taken to protect the personal information of the User

6.1. The uFiler takes the necessary and sufficient organizational and technical measures to protect the User’s personal information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution, and from other illegal actions with it by third parties.

7. Modification of the Privacy Policy. Applicable Law

7.1. The uFiler has the right to amend this Privacy Policy. When changes are made to the current edition, the date of the last update is indicated. The new version of the Policy takes effect from the moment it is posted, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Policy. 7.2. The Law of the Russian Federation shall apply to this Policy and the relationship between the User and uFiler arising in connection with the application of the Privacy Policy.
